Power

2016 Ford Fiesta

The 2016 Ford Fiesta features a choice of three powerful, speedy engines that can get you where you want to go all over Schaumburg! The base engine is a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine that uses a twin independent variable cam shaft system, producing up to 120 hp and 112 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with a choice of a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift capability, although the fuel efficiency has yet to be determined. You can also choose the 1.0L 3-cylinder engine that uses Ti-VCT and Ford EcoBoost technology to produce 123 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque. Ford EcoBoost technology uses naturally aspirated induction and other systems to get up to 15% better fuel efficiency with fewer emissions and the same amount of power output. Finally, the ST hatchback model uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder engine with EcoBoost technology and turbocharged direct fuel injection for more power when you need it, producing up to 197 hp and 202 lb-ft of torque.

The 2016 Honda Fit uses a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine, which includes a dual overhead cam shaft system and i-VTEC technology. This engine produces 130 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque, and includes an Eco Assist system that allows you to choose an Econ mode for better fuel efficiency. This engine comes with a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission with a Sport mode and dual-mode paddle shifters.

Choose Your Car

2016 Ford Fiesta

The 2016 Ford Focus might have a little less power on the base level than the 2016 Honda Fit, but you'll have more choices for your engine than the Fit's single option. Upgrading your engine on the Ford Focus means you'll get more torque for better control over your car, as well as the option for a powerful sport and performance version that gives you more power with the same great features you'll love on the Focus.
