PORTER/MAKE READY:

 

Job Description

Porter duties include (but are not limited to):

·         Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and driving vehicles from the service lanes to the service stalls.

·         Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved.

·         Keeping the service drop-off area clean and free of debris.

·         Retrieving newly-serviced vehicles for customers.

You must have a valid drivers license in order to qualify for this job.

CUSTOMER CARE COORDINATOR:

 

Job Description

SUMMARY:
We're looking for a BDC Coordinator to join our team. You will create/confirm appointments; make outbound calls to generate business for the company and follow-up with clients for aftermarket. You must be able to multi- task, use a multi-line phone system, report your progress and deliver exceptional customer service. Full training available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Communicates effectively with Internet customers and prospects whether by phone, by e-mail or in person.

·         Assists customers in scheduling a visit to select a vehicle and offers sales support.

·         Confirms customer appointments and follows up afterwards.

·         Understands the psychology of Internet customers and works with them accordingly to draw them into the store for proper vehicle demonstration.

·         Checks e-mail frequently and responds to inquiries immediately. Delivers messages intended for the other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.

·         Handles all Internet sales inquiries personally.

·         Researches auto-buying services on the Internet and acts as liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertise.

·         Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals.

·         Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers. Attends product and sales training as requested by manager.

PRODUCT SPECIALIST / DELIVERY COORDINATOR:

The job role will include doing product demonstrations for customers at the dealership, or offsite at their home or work.

  • You will be trained and become an expert in the Ford product line.
  • You will make videos for how to use the newest in vehilce technology, video walk around presentations talking about the features and benefits, and what to expect videos for customers about the process of buying and servicing their vehicles at our dealership.
  • You will utilize the latest predictive technology to engage customers who are actively looking for vehicles and many who were not in the market but meet certain criteria making them prime prospects to engage with regarding our new products.
  • You will also learn about automotive financing and leasing and share the benefits of both to help customize programs that best suit our customers.
  • You will act as a concierge with online customers who are shopping through our online portal allowing the customer to complete an entire transaction online without ever entering the dealership.
  • In addition, you will learn about the 5 businesses under one roof that make up our dealership.



Office Cashier/Receptionist

Arlington Heights Ford is seeking a part-time night cashier/receptionist to join our successful team. This position will work from 4 pm to 9pm (close). This is a great opportunity to join the number one Ford Dealership in Illinois! Compensation is commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits. EOE

Job Duties

·         Responsible for answering incoming phone calls in a professional manner and transferring them to the appropriate department

·         Responsible for handling cash drawer and balancing it daily.

·         Prepare and process all inbound vehicles, dealer trades, and wholesales. This includes filing tax forms, bill of sales and other applicable paperwork.

·         Responsible for ordering all office supplies and managing relationships with suppliers.

·         Process cash receipts for sales, parts, and service departments.

·         Handle all requests for CRT-61 and W-9 tax forms for vendors

·         Handle and distribute mail

·         Maintain dealer license plate inventory

Requirements

·         High school diploma or equivalent required

·         Excellent verbal communication

·         Detail oriented and highly organized

·         Ability to multi-task in fast paced, high volume dealership

·         Able to work on time-sensitive projects with tight deadlines

·         Must be a team player with integrity and strong work ethics
